Field work will take place in thermokarst-affected lowlands between the Blackstone Uplands (YT) and Tuktoyuktuk (NWT). The position will develop predictive models based on the interacting effects of paleogeography (deposits and ice), climate, topography, snow cover, and vegetation growth within thaw ponds.
