Who was the Joint AGM for?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
All CPA and NSERC PermafrostNet members and affiliates were invited to participate in the first joint virtual AGM, with the first day geared towards members of CPA. On Monday 16 November CPA members had a keynote on permafrost engineering and science, technical sessions, and the CPA business meeting was held in the last session of the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What sort of sessions and activities did the AGM have?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
The meeting consisted of three technical sessions, including keynote presentations on permafrost engineering and science,\u00a0and a CPA business meeting on Monday 16 November. On\u00a0Tuesday 17<\/strong> et\u00a0Wednesday 18 November<\/strong>, CPA and NSERC PermafrostNet partnered to provide a program of keynote presentations, interactive activities, and breakout sessions to promote networking and smaller group discussions. The NSERC PermafrostNet meetings included student-led activities and equity, diversity and inclusion sessions in addition to the scientific and administrative meetings.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n All sessions were held by videoconference using Zoom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The event was hosted by NSERC PermafrostNet and the Canadian Permafrost Association (CPA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you have any questions, feel free to email us at permafrostnet@carleton.ca<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Veuillez noter que toutes les heures sont indiqu\u00e9es en heure de l\u2019Est (UTC-5).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Volunteers can access a private area with further details of the event as well as a Microsoft Teams channel to chat with other volunteers and share files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Registered attendees have access to exclusive meeting details, files and links e.g. speaker presentations in the attendee area.
