Olivia is completing a master’s degree in Geography with a specialization in Data Science at Carleton University under the supervision of Dr. Stephan Gruber. Her current project involves the analysis of borehole data from Northern Canada to assess permafrost change. She hopes that her research will be able to provide a more comprehensive view of permafrost thaw and assist adaptation action in Canada.
She graduated from the University of Ottawa obtaining an Honours BSc in Environmental Science. During this degree, she developed a love for plants and environmental stewardship.
