Hosein is undertaking a Ph.D at Carleton University under the supervision of Professor Stephan Gruber. He is working on characterizing permafrost’s ice and water content with dielectric methods. He completed an MSc in Mining Engineering-Mineral Exploration at Arak University of Technology (Arak-Iran). The majority of his research activity evolved around Exploration Geophysics. In 2021, As a visiting graduate student, at Memorial University of Newfoundland, he researched advanced mathematical methods, programming language, and parallel processing to introduce a novel algorithm for 3D inversion of Time-Domain Electromagnetic data.
He introduced two novel algorithms: PR-DMF for Full unmixing hydrothermal alteration minerals by integrating neural network and Directed Matched Filtering algorithm, and a Directed Matched filtering algorithm as a feather extraction method.
