Khatereh is a PhD candidate at the University of Calgary in the Department of Civil Engineering under the supervision of Professor Jocelyn Hayley. Her PhD research is focused on Geomechanical properties of thawing permafrost.
Khatereh studied her bachelor and master at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. Her master thesis was on Fully Coupled Numerical Modeling Of Carbon Dioxide Sequestration in Deep Underground Formations with EFG Method.
